Liar’s Poker is an easy to read account of the author’s life as a bond salesman on the floor of Salomon Brothers in the early 1980’s. The book gives a good insight into the life of those involved in the financial markets back then.
While easy to read this book is still only likely to appeal to those people who take an active interest in the markets. If you are interested however, I do recommend the book as a fascinating account of the world of bond trading in the early 1980s.
